Our Story
Biranga Owiny Cooperative Society was founded on the belief that collaboration and community-led initiatives can transform lives. What began as a small group of dedicated members has grown into a thriving cooperative committed to eradicating poverty, promoting sustainable agriculture, and strengthening social cohesion across Tororo and the Bukedi sub-region.
Our mission is to empower smallholder farmers especially women, youth, and indigenous clan members by providing practical training, access to resources, and market-driven support. Through innovative approaches like cooperative ownership, circular agriculture, and climate-resilient farming, we aim to turn subsistence households into profitable, sustainable agro-entrepreneurs.
